The view of the marsh in the morning was beautiful and everyone at the hotel was always very helpful. I had to stay during the week for several weeks in a row and never had any issues or concerns.

The Hilton Garden Inn is as close to Hilton Head Island as you can get without actually being on the island and right on the main road to the bridge. The beds had a mattress with controlled firmness. The rooms, public areas and staff are just fine. There is some covered parking in a garage area under the hotel. As in a previous review, the noise from the air conditioning unit was a problem for sleeping. Breakfast is an additional $10.00 per person so you need to figure that into the room cost. Bring bottled water since the local water has a fairly strong sulfur taste.

The staff was friendly and very helpful with restaurant suggestions and directions. This property was completely booked when we arrived, but the staff accommodated our request. The only complaints were that the parking garage was underneath the building & the elevator had to be accessed with the room key but the swipe did not work most of the time. The airconditioner was a bit loud, but the room was very large and comfortable. Our room had a microwave & mini fridge.
