We stayed here for a week. Wonderful condo, 3 bed 3 bath all units, elevator, very comfortable and plenty of room. They have an onsite office, outdoor heated pool and hot tub. I would have given 5 stars if there had been an indoor pool. Close to beach and golf is almost at your door! I would definetly recommend this resort. Great for golfers or those that just looking for a place to relax and enjoy the area. We are Global Discovery Vacation members and took advantage of our membership.

I find most of the other reviews to be accurate. It is only a short walk to a very nice beach area and found the staff friendly and accommodating with good recommendations for dining and activities. We thought the kitchen was small and in need of updating. The carpet is very clean but showing signs of wear. The bedrooms are good sized and bed reasonably comfortable. The living area with TV was small and the furniture not especially comfortable.

This is a relatively quiet small resort without many extra activities (if that is what you are looking for). There is covered parking and outside grills. I'd stay there again but don't expect to be blown away like some other Diamond Resorts.

We used our timeshare to exchange at the Royal Dunes in late November to early December. It was located in the Port Royal Plantation on Hilton Head, just a short walk to a great public beach. The beach is perfect for walking and riding bikes, and the temperature was perfect. The unit had three bedrooms and three bathrooms, so it was a great set-up for guests. We enjoyed our stay there very much. The only negative was that there is no accomodation for recycling, which I found odd because Hilton Head seems to be very environmentally conscious. They have a sign posted in the elevator to tell you where to take your recycling, and it was quite a ways offsite and not at all convenient. A container in the trash area would be so much more convenient. There are two pools at the resort, one of which is heated. All in all, it is a great place!

This was our third visit to Hilton Head and by far, the best resort property that we had stayed in. The three bedroom, three bath unit is very spacious complete with washer and dryer, well equipped kitchen, easy walk to the beach, and three great accessible golf courses. Check in was efficient and all the staff very friendly and accomodating. There were four of us, and not once did we feel cramped or crowded. During our stay, we were all very impressed with the tranquility of the property. Never heard any noise from the other units. There are several activities which we did not participate in with the exception of the Tuesday lunch cookout, food was plentiful and enjoyed talking with other guests. Our unit was very up-to-date and clean. There was not a mid-week tidy up, but we did not find this to be a problem. Would definitely return to this resort. The only drawback was the lack of a fitness center on the property.
