Stayed week of March 19-26. Weather was great most of the week. Resort is older but nicely appointed and we stayed in recently renovated unit in 700 building. 2 pools, one heated, 2 hot tubs, steam room, sauna, tennis courts etc. We also had use of the health club at their sister resort, but we did not use it. We rented our unit so we did not get free golf like owners do, but the front desk gave us some coupons for golf just off the island for $36 each. Complex is in gated Shipyard Plantation which gives sense of security. Next to Crown Plaza Resort on dead end road so there was very little noise-very relaxing week. Grounds are kept up very well. There are gas grills in convenient locations around the grounds as well. While there were not many children, there were daily activities planned for them if they wanted to participate. At check in we declined the timeshare sales presentation offered as we have no intention of buying one. We were not pressured to take it. We brought our own bikes but they also had arrangement with local rental for very good prices. Not on the beach, but within walking distance. Overall a very nice resort for all ages.
