I've stayed here by myself for Business by myself. The good surprise I've had was the staff. They were beyond helpful and kind. They gladly recieved and kept packages sent for me before my arrival, lent me a vacoon cleaner when needed (for packing), everyone always had a huge smile, tips and if available were happy to chat about general stuff. It's what is expected of a hotel but they do it so gracefully! On my second night here I was already felling like it was home everyone knew me by my name.
No complains at all.

Nice place for a chain hotel. Very clean, nice room with good size, decent bathroom. Internet service was good. Super friendly staff. Nice area, good for evening walks. Felt very safe and area was clean as well. Quaint little southern, small college town.

Have stayed in the hotel several times and the service was good as always. It is a clean hotel (the best in Hartsville) and compared to others I visited this one stands out.

The staff is very helpfull and nice so will keep on visiting this hotel while being in H'ville.

Booked two rooms here for me, my wife and a friend for a trip to the Darlington area. Stayed overnight here in Hartsville, as it seemed like one of the nicer hotels in the outer Darlington area, without going out of our way into Florence (were traveling from the north).

The check in process was quick and friendly. The front desk was helpful in recommending some restaurants in town. The rooms here were large and clean. The beds were big and soft (a bit too soft for my taste, but that's just me). I was on the 2nd floor of the hotel, in a back room, which unfortunately turned out to be within earshot of the pool. There were teenagers partying around the pool well into the night (probably wouldn't have bothered me so much except I had a bit of a cold and went to bed early). Not sure what event was going on that weekend at the hotel, but it seemed to be a lot of partiers. Saw quite a few people lugging in cases of beer, and there were beercans in the 1st floor public bathroom.

My wife likes to have a fridge and microwave in the room. Our room did not have either, but my friend (who I booked the exact same room type for) did have one on a rolling cart. Maybe our was just rolled out for some reason. So, if you want a fridge and microwave, you might want to ask when you book.

Breakfast didn't look too appetizing and was crowded. We opted to go find something in town. Found a little local place called Carolina Lunch. It served a GREAT breakfast (if their business was on Tripadvisor, I'd review it, too).
