I was given 2 keys for my room took elevator to upper floor. keYS did not work had to carry laugage back to lobbY which is not near elevator. they gave me more keys still did not work . I had to go back to lobby with all my laugage next day keys did not work. i left before checkout and could not get back in to get rest of my stuff keys did not work. I asked for some sort of compensation but no reply. I have a bad ankle so the excessive walking did not help. the free breakfast was average fare.As was the dinner which I paid for. To date never heard from hoiliday inn. its been a month. the do not have courtesey phones on the floors. which is bad in case of emergencies. The room was great and the staff.

Me and my wife traveled to Greenville. We absolutely loved staying at this hotel. The location is great, easy access from I-85 and easy to find; it felt very safe and had lots of friendly people working here. Room was clean and updated.

They have a restaurant and a bar, and offer room service. We received incredibly quick room service and the food was pretty good and delicious. The breakfast buffet is unbelievable, its free big breakfast which kept us going all day. We specially liked the free DJ they have on Friday that we stayed. We enjoyed our entire 4 days stay and would stay again!

When I told my friend I was going to relocate from (big luxury hotel downtown) to this, she was aghast. This neighborhood has a bit of a local stigma.

Here's the deal. It was clean. The rate was great. The food was outstanding. What's NOT to like? The employees were all friendly and courteous.

The only suggestion? Get an odd numbered room: away from the interstate.

For music trivia buff's this used to be a Sheraton and was the last hotel Lynyrd Skynyrd stayed in before their plane crash in 1977.

I truly hate to bad mouth a place, but we were unbelievably surprised at the surroundings of this hotel. We stayed here for a soccer tournament, (as per a travel agent's placement) and would NOT stay here again. While, yes, it's conveniently located to the interstate, the surroundings are frightning! (If I can figure out how to upload photos, I will). There were homeless people wandering through the parking lot, and a man was beaten and left for dead during our stay!!!!! (I heard he lived, but also heard he passed away!) The room was marginal, at best, and the hallways had a smell of sewage and smoke. While we usually choose to stay in 3 star and above hotels, this is the first time in a very long time that we felt scared for our safety...and when we heard about the poor man that was beaten and left for dead (and after seeing the police/fire trucks), we were scared to come in and/or out of the hotel after dark. The beds were very comfortable, but would NOT stay here again, nor would I recommend it. Sorry.
