The bad.....The white paper on the walls of the room was peeling off and the the shower was not clean. Just does not look taken care of. Not sure why they call it an executive center as I do not think a seasoned traveler would stay here. The service in the morning was not that great when I tried to check out and get a receipt.

The good....it is near (a few miles) from downtown (pretty straight shot) and right off the exit of the main road that takes you into town. The bed was fairly comfortable and seemed clean.

The price felt a little high even for a Saturday night ($80) for the quality of the room...but I do feel I was paying for location, with all the downtown hotels booked at a much higher rate.

To start i'm not the type of persons to take the time to write a review, but I felt the need to reiterate what the prior reviews have said. I ignored them and wish I hadn't. I also wish I could start off on a good note but there was none. The receptionist was rude, unorganized, and acted as if our check in was an inconvenience to her. The door wouldn't open and we were told just to "keep trying and if we pushed hard enough it would eventually open, it normally takes about four times". The room was musty but if that was it I wouldn't be writing and would've just put it behind me. But then after spending the day out we come back and there were roaches, and I'm not just talking one or two we killed at least 12 in the first hour before I gave up. Sleep Inn or Clarion are close by and I've had good experience with both as I visit Greenville frequently, "Quality" will never get any of my business again. Please don't make the same mistake I did.

In four short words "do not stay here". The pictures of the pool are not current. The pool was "green" with algae in June, the peak of summer in South Carolina. The rooms were very musty and not clean. The bed spreads were not washed for at least a few weeks (best guess). The catch is that this property requires a cancellation of 24-48 hours out. But you cant access the condition of the rooms until you get there, and then it's too late. You are on the hook for at least a nights payment. They will offer to switch rooms, but all are equally as bad. I travel 50-60 nights a year. Mostly at Choice hotels, Holiday Inn, and Marriott, so I'm not a "must stay at a 5 star property" customer, but I do expect a CLEAN room from name brand hotels, Quality Inns included. There is NO accountability from the corporate office on the conditions locally owned and managed properties.

The only positive I can think of was the hotel is known for it's hot breakfast, which the pictures looked good, but I didnt find out because I left after 15 minutes. As the other reviews confirm, you do not want to stay at this property!

This hotel should be avoided. When we checked in there was no room number on door--had been painted over. Room was 420 which is no doubt between 418 and 422. Door was open but I closed it and the key did given to me did operate the lock. There was a pair of shoes sitting on the credenza. Bathroom was dirty and disgusting. Also a fluorescent light bulb laying across vanity.

Second room had been smoked in and overall there was a very creepy feel to this hotel.

Choice Hotels would be wise to get rid of this from their chain. This difinitely gives Choice a very bad name.

We left and went to Clarion 1.5 miles away and it was fine.
