We always stay at residence inn, throughout the country. We were disappointed with this inn. Breakfast was supposed to be from 7 - 10 on the weekends as we were told by the desk clerk when checking in. On Sat morning we came down for breakfast and were told it was over at 9:30. It was 9:30 when we came down and ended up having coffee. Taking a shower surprised up as there was no hot water or pressure. When we advised the desk we were told that they were sorry but they had to replace a compressor that morning. They said it was fixed and we could shower then. Too late, dressed and ready to go.

The morning we did get breakfast early it was unlike all of the other residence inns, very little choice, very little fruit. Beer and wine are not sold in the cooler and the surrounding grounds left a lot to be desired. In all, go somewhere else.

Moved to this property from another hotel in Greenville, as it is a distance from the I-85 and therefore quieter. Found the staff to be friendly and accomodating. Breakfast is fairly standard, and they now have a light dinner on Monday-Thursday. Absolutely would recommend in this price range.

What a life saver the RESIDENCE INN Greenville was for us! (We had a reservation at the Holiday Inn Express ( YUK!) on 2681 Dry Pocket Road which turned out to be terrible...on check-in after checking 3 rooms and finding them all dirty and smokey & tired we cancelled our res. and went out in search for another hotel). Lots of events going on in Gr'ville that weekend but we were able to get the last room at the RESIDENCE INN and it was a find! Nice 2nd floor room with separate bedroom from livingroom/kitchen, nice size bath, 2 TV's. Very clean, brand new sleeper sofa in LV...very comfortable bed, ironed sheets,feather pillows, big fluffy towels in bathroom. We were there 4 nights and must say housekeeping was excellent. The hotel does not triple sheet beds, but since we like them that way housekeeping kept them triple sheeted for us..tight & tidy! We judge a hotel by the way hallways, hall carpets and elevators are kept and this hotel was so clean. We are very very particular about cleanliness and this hotel was tops! Staff at front desk and at breakfast extra nice. I did notice that several guests had pets ( I saw them at the doggie walk out back) but there was absolutely no odor or noise. Also we were told only 2 rooms in entire hotel are smoking rooms, so hallways were fresh and clean! Such a pleasure!! Breakfast was a hot continental with eggs, sausages, make-your-own waffles , muffins etc...very nice. There is a computer for guests in corner of dining room & short court tennis & basket ball outside. Can't say enough about thie Residence Inn. It will be our home in Gr'ville from now on!
