We had to book last minute because of car trouble on a recent trip. I used my Marriott rewards points to stay here overnight and T=the room was very clean and spacious. The staff were polite and friendly.

Thanks to Marriott Rewards and front desk (helpful and friendly) we were upgraded to a 2 BR suite! Quiet place in good location. Easy access to downtown, restaurants, etc. Leann (general manager) was great in providing directions, restaurant recommendations, etc.

Spacious suite had 2 BR and 3 HDTVs! Full kitchen. Some kind of breakfast was provided but we took care of our own in our suite. The only negative comment would be a small bathroom with not much vanity space.

Would definitely stay here again!

We've stayed at this hotel twice on trips related to Clemson - for moving in our freshman son and for parents weekend. The main reason we went with this hotel is the size of the rooms and value. We got a 2BR suite with a sofabed in the main living area, which was perfect for my husband and I and our two sons. Plenty of room, appreciated the kitchen too. Best of all, the price is terrific for all of that. Turns out the location is also excellent, easy to get to off the highway, close to a mall, lots of restaurants close by. The suite is clean and quiet, the beds are comfortable, there's a TV in every room. The parking lot is big enough and well lit and feels safe. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There were no linens in the room for the sofa bed last time, but a quick trip to the front office landed us what we needed quickly and with a smile. The little convenience store in the lobby has supplied small needs like toothbrush, laundry detergent and snacks. Used the computer and printer in the lobby to print boarding passes - worked fine. Used the wifi - also works well. Did a load of laundry last time - they have a spacious laundry room with four washing machines and something like six dryers, cost $2 to wash and dry, was fast and worked great. The free breakfast is light, but for a quick bowl of cereal or oatmeal, yogurt, juice, and coffee/tea, it was fine. Definitely Marriott quality, convenience, comfort, we'll be back!

I wasn't expecting free breakfast since other Towneplace Suites don't offer one but I was pleasantly surprised that it is provided. It's a nice place to stay if you're in the Greenville area!
