I was in town on family business and had not made reservations in advance but was able to secure a room with no problem, but I did ask to be put in the front as opposed to the rear of the building. I took the room anyway as I was tired from the plane flight from New York to Charlotte. Any how... the room was presentable but the "Walls" were in dire need of painting and the furniture was dirty. I took one of the wash clothes and wiped down everything in the room and you should have seen the cloth afterwards... filthy. I will think twice before getting a room for approximately $75.00 a night with filthy walls.

Very accomadting and nice people highly recomend this hotel

After traveling for 17 hours, I was in need of a nice relaxing hotel. The room that I checked into was spotless. I had several restaurants to choice from within walking distance of the hotel. After a good nights sleep I had breakfast and hit the road. Great find and I will return.

When we showed up to check in, they had incorrectly booked our room. Even after I showed our confirmation of the room we reserved, they essentially told us "too bad". They booked us a smoking room instead of non-smoking, and my wife has a lot of problems being around cigarette/cigar smoke. The room reeked! When we told them that wouldn't work, they said we could have a room on the second floor. We specifically ordered first floor because I'm physically disabled, so that wasn't very fun for me to have to take the stairs (no elevator? Are you kidding me?). NO discount on our stay or any other type of reparation was offered for our major inconvenience. And these people that say the beds are comfortable must be on the Jameson Inn payroll, because we might as well have slept on the floor they were so uncomfortable. Not sure where these high ratings are coming from, because our stay was AWFUL.
