I stayed at the Jameson Inn a few times with my parents who have gone there many times.
They have treated my parents like family from the start and now I feel like I am also part of the family now. You can't find a better place to stay if you want great personal service were the whole staff goes out of their way to make you feel special.

The staff and services at the Jameson Inn were outstanding and the location was convenient to both Gaffney and to I-85.

However, I booked on line based on "Best Available Rate." It clearly wasn't -- I paid considerably more than if I had called the motel directly. I don't like this kind of false advertising.

As a result, I'll have to think long and hard before I decide to say at a Jameson again.

I traveled alone to Gaffney, SC to visit a sick family member. I requested a room near the lobby since I was a female traveling alone. I was checked into a room 4 doors down from the lobby and felt very safe. The room was comfortable with all the amenities I expected and more. I used to be in hotel management, so I go over every room I check into with a fine tooth comb. The bathroom, carpet, drapes, walls, and bedding were all very clean. The refrigerator was clean. I couldn't find anything out of place or dirty. The staff was friendly and helpful during my entire stay - on every shift! There were plenty of restaurants within walking distance, as well as shopping. I couldn't have asked for a better value for my money, and have recommended this hotel to everyone I know, even if they're not going to Gaffney!! LOL I'm actually looking forward to going back to Gaffney because of the Jameson Inn. Thank you for a very pleasant stay during a very trying time :)

I was in town on family business and had not made reservations in advance but was able to secure a room with no problem, but I did ask to be put in the front as opposed to the rear of the building. I took the room anyway as I was tired from the plane flight from New York to Charlotte. Any how... the room was presentable but the "Walls" were in dire need of painting and the furniture was dirty. I took one of the wash clothes and wiped down everything in the room and you should have seen the cloth afterwards... filthy. I will think twice before getting a room for approximately $75.00 a night with filthy walls.
