This was the first Sleep Inn I had ever stayed at, and was pleasantly surprised. For only $58 my wife and I got a decent room with cable, a fridge and microwave, and they even had a little pool outside and a free continental breakfast. The staff was really friendly too, and everybody else we ran into around Gaffney was also really nice. This place is located right off the highway, and there's a couple of restaurants like a half mile down the road, including a Cracker Barrel and a breakfast diner, and I think something else. They grow a lot of peaches in this area and such products seem to be everywhere. Also check out the Cowpens National Battlefield one or two exits before Gaffney. This area is probably about an hour southwest of Charlotte, near Spartanburg.
