I wish I had know about this place before we left. After almost getting ripped off at another area hotel we checked here. Great price, employees were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and overall the property was above average to excellent. I WILL stay there every time we go to Carowinds.

If you are going to Carowinds, this is by far the best place to stay, and the rates are very reasonable. The motel is located just across the street from Carowinds. Access is very easy from Carowinds Boulevard. It has a well-lighted parking lot with plenty of spaces.

The rooms are sparkling clean and the beds are comfortable. The bathroom is nice and roomy with a large tub. This is not your typical run-of-the-mill Motel 6. This one is fairly new and has interior corridors. The front desk staff is very helpful and friendly.

There is a Shoney's next door within a very short walking distance so you can enjoy their breakfast bar before heading out to Carowinds. There is also a nice convenience store within walking distance. A Cracker Barrel is just down the street.

After a long day at Carowinds, it was nice to drive a very short distance back to this Motel 6 and head to bed.

This property has clean,small rooms. I had never stayed at a Motel 6 before, but after seeing the prices at some of the other area hotels/motels decided to try it for 1 night. The linens were nice, mattresses were adequate & bathroom was on the large side with a nice tub/shower. The carpet probably could stand a cleaning but were not too bad. They accept pets. The worst part was lack of sound proofing. The front desk staff were pleasant & helpful.

A great value for anyone looking for a clean place to stay while visiting Carowinds. If you are on a budget, dont be afraid to stay here. While the rooms are very basic, they are clean and comfortable. The people working the front desk were very nice and helpful. Very convienient to Carowinds, Cracker Barrell, Wendys, KFC, and the best mexican restaurant I have ever eaten at El-Cancun.
