Hotel was better than expected for price. It was clean, Staff friendly, and easy to get on and off highway. I had forgotten something after I checked out and called to have them put it aside until I returned the following week. They had it at the desk waiting when I returned. The facility could use some updating and the breakfast wasn't much to speak of but for $50.00 I got what I wanted - a clean room, comfortable bed for the night.

First let me start out with the fact that my credit card was over charged not once but 3 times and I still have not recieved my credit back to my credit card. It has been 3 mths and no refund. The hotel smells bad and it is old and out dated. Someones dog pooped in the elevator and it stayed there over night even after I reported it to the manager in charge. I asked to speak with the owner because I have not received my refund on my card and the manager told me he did not deal with the guest at all. She also said she would refund my credit card but that has yet to happen. The manager acted as if she did not want to hear my complaint and walked away while I was still talking to her.

This hotel is a wonderful place to spend vacation. It was a delight to interact with the employees; each employee provided excellent service. In addition, the rooms are clean and are equipped with all of the basic necessities for a joyful stay. The beds are extremely comfortable--better than most hotels have to offer! Our family stay was wonderful!

I often travel with my company and typically normally look for a safe, clean place to sleep, and certainly nothing fancy. I had thought this would be a relatively clean place from some of the reviews on here that are obviously doctored by management after I go back and review them. Upon my arrival I found the lobby to be outdated but somewhat different and clean enough so I procedded to check into my room. The room was indeed scarier than Scarowinds ever had time to be and after killing two roaches within the first two hours of my stay I had decided to check out. After complaining to the desk and nothing was accomplished my next step was to try and talk to someone from the management staff. The "general manager" phyllis was probably the most unprofessional person i've ever dealt with and she was completely unwilling to resolve my situation. So I made the only decision I could, chalk the room up as a loss and stay next door at the peaceful and clean best western. I would honestly not recommend this hotel to my biggest business competitor much less anyone I cared for! There are many other options on this exit and I will definately choose them next time I visit town.
