stopped on our way south, just for overnight., travelling with pets. Clean, comfortable, and basic. Front desk was very nice. did the job, for short money

A friend and I stayed at this hotel for labor day weekend. We checked in that Friday night. Going into that Monday morning while we were gone our room was broken into. The necessary formalties were done by us. Risk Management called and informed us on a Friday that they would not be reimbursing us for our stolen items and we were not reimbursed for our unpleasant stay. Stated, "they were not required to." Now what does this say about how they value your business. The motel is affordable but stay at your own risk.

We stopped late on our way up from Florida to New York. Asked for no smoking - our daughter has severe asthma. When we got our room and it reeked of smoke. They have an ashtray in the room with a no smoking sign on it. Underneath the ash tray on the counter is all the ashes just dumped out. The bed sheets had little black hairs all over them. They did give us a new room . The new no smoking room also came with the ash tray with ashes still in it. At least the ash tray had the no smoking sign on it.

It wasn't bad. Cheap enough but wouldn't stay there again. The room we stayed in had a cheap little tv and the door sat crooked on the hinges. You could see daylight through part of the door jamb where the place settled. The floors seem hollow. If you're looking for a cheap stay, this fits the bill but I would pay a few extra bucks and stay somewhere nicer.
