We have stayed at this Hampton Inn quite a few times enroute to/from Florida. It is extremely convenient off I-95, but not directly on top of the highway - no traffic noise is heard. There is a shopping area across the street (Kohl's, Olive Garden, Chili's) and another shopping mall across Route 20. There is a gas station next door.
Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. Bathroom clean but beginning to show small signs of wear. The heating unit is one that turns on/off each time, so that was a bit noisy until we got used to it. Breakfast area is clean and well stocked. Staff is friendly and accommodating. The only thing we noticed this time was the smell of cigarette smoke outside the elevator and to our room on the third floor. Once inside the room, however, there was no smell.
Yes, we'd stay here again.. it's a good stop.

My husband and I just travelled north to spend the holidays with family in PA. We stopped last night in Florence SC at the Hampton Inn/Civic Center. Check in was OK, not friendly, not rude. We got to our room and it was clean but, I began to notice things. Things like there was used dental floss on the floor between the beds. Obviously didn't vacuum. The bathroom had clean towels and looked clean, except the floor wasn't clean, there were things like hair and drops of cream on the floor. After that I checked the beds to see if they were clean, and it looked to be so. The TV never worked right. You had to point the remote directly at the little green light on the TV and move the channel button up and down only. A real pain after travelling all day and wanting to relax. The breakfast in the morning was the usual fare and was fine. All in all it was not worth making a fuss over, however we won't stop there again.

This is a great property, probably one of the nicest Hampton Inns I have stayed at. The suites are very nice. We made reservations from the road though my Hilton Honors card, the staff was very facilitating.

We were in Suite112 right inside the door. Nice one bedroom suite with kitchenette, pull-out couch, King bedroom and very large bathroom (owing to the fact that it was handicapped room). Nice desk to do work, and two easy chairs. Very comfortable with great bed and good airconditioning.

We have stayed here many times in many differen suites and never been dissappointed. Great outdoor pool and hot tub open until 10:30pm.

Overall, a very nice property with great staff and large suites and rooms.

Stayed overnight traveling to Florida. Easy check-in(reserved on line). Very pleasant staff. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was fine.
