Staff great, breakfast nice, room nice and clean, BUT the shower had mold in the corners. Don't they know that a little bleach gets rid of it. Its a little gross to get into a shower tub with mold on the edges. I thought they inspected each room each day.

a/c in bedroom of 1st room faulty..Moved to 2nd room for 2 nights. No remote could be found after 5pm for TV in living room. Had to control TV manually but volume unable to control TV was blaring. No hot water in sink.A remote was found found the next day. Water in hot tub not even warm. Was given explanation this is because it outside!!! Have stayed in many places with outside hot tubs but this was a first...Not all bad though...comfy bed, great shower, and nice fitness center. Desk clerks very good with directions

Greeted with a smile, just before the storm. Room was good, no problems. Back door was broken and unlocked, but at night they did lock it, no that was not an issue. Stayed on points, the DID NOT put a hold on my credit card, THANKS for that. I was very pleased, left early the next morning before breakfast, but gave me two take away bags for the road. Very nice people.

This is a nice, comfortable, clean hotel and a great stop after a long day of driving from NYC to FL. With a normal day of driving, this hotel is about 9-10 hours from NYC. With the impending blizzard, we left NYC early, but in southern VA and in NC, we ran into some delays due to some snowplowing, and the drive took more like 11 - 11 1/2 hours. It was GREAT to pull into the Hampton Inn and Suites in Florence and see our wonderful suite with it's gas fireplace. Ahhhh! We stayed in room 113, and even though it is right by the elevator, we didn't hear it at all. The front desk staff was friendly and cheerful, and there are LOTS of good restaurants around the area. We will definitely stop here again and we will likely get a suite again. Totally worth it after a long drive!
