Everything about the Easley, SC hotel surpasses expectation for the price! The rooms are so comfortable with everything you could need, soothing current decor and bedding, lovely furniture that isn't "too much" for the space. Spotlessly clean- not an ounce of the "ick" factor so many hotels in the price range have. I felt totally at ease, slept like a baby - actually hated to leave! The staff were friendly and cheerful. I have no complaints at all. However, I did discover that not all Jameson Inns are nearly this nice. See my review of the Commerce, GA Jameson Inn- completely different experience!

This hotel is convenient when visiting my family in the area, but we found it to be "just OK", considering its boastful sign out front that reads "#1 in customer satisfaction for 5 1/2 years!" The rooms had a strong odor, from disinfectant or deodorizer or something that irritated my husbands lungs and I'm guessing tried to cover up the smell of what might have formally been a smoking room. The beds were very uncomfortable, very very firm and rigid. The cleaning was not the best. The room was cleaned promptly, but, for example, the ironing board and iron were left out for our entire stay. Not a big issue, but it's something that is usually put away at other hotels by the staff during cleaning. Also - they offer free wifi, but the connection was so weak we weren't able to connect for atleast 70% of the time.
Bottom line: we won't stay there again, even if it means a few extra miles of a trip to our family's home.

The rooms were very clean. Beds were very comfortable and had new mattresses. Jameson Inn is close to alot of different restaurants, grocery stores and shopping malls. Only thing we disliked was no kiddy pool since we were traveling with 2 grandsons , 2 and 6 yrs old.

It is nice to know that there are still hotels that are clean, roomy, have a courteous staff and all at a good price. We arrived late on a Friday for just one night and were treated as though we were going to be there a week. The front desk lady was really nice and friendly. We will certainly be back and would highly recommend.
