The wife and I stayed here fro a weekend while visiting family in Conway. We found the room to be clean and quite spacious. The breakfast was a notch above most budget motels with a waffle maker and a small selection of fresh fruit. I found a good deal with a 3 night stay package. Situated on the Waccamaw River, it's 20 min. from MYR airport and 5 min. to downtown Conway.

I stayed here while on a business trip. The location is just past the Waccamaw River off Hwy 501, easy to see from the highway and easily accessed. One complaint I had was the entrance: I arrived at night and turned into what I thought was the main parking lot - it was the overflow lot for big trucks. The problem is the entrance to the main parking lot is not clearly marked with a lighted "ENTER" sign. No big deal- I turned around and entered the correct lot. I did mention this to the owner/manager who noted 3 other guests did the same thing when checking in that evening, and agreed a lighted sign was needed. Hopefully he will fix this. Since I am female and was travelling alone, I asked for a room close to the lobby. The owner accomodated my request and assured me safety should would not be a issue. He also requested that I call him immediately if I any issues after getting into my room, which I didn't.

The room was OK. I am pretty picky and require that hotel rooms be spotless. This one wasn't - whoever had cleaned the commode missed the pee left by a prior guest behind the lid. Needless to say I found it. Also short of making the bed and emptying the trash, no real cleaning was done during my stay. My coffee cup and empty drink bottle were left on the sink for me when I returned in the evening. Also, the TV remote was malfunctioning- channel button only functioned in the down position, which was slightly irritating. The bathroom looked like it had been remodeled recently, which was a big plus.

The hotel does have continental breakfast served in the lobby. Choices include cereals, fruit cups, apple and orange juices, coffee, honey buns, boiled eggs, instant oatmeal and the ever popular, waffle station. For me, the breakfast was fine.

Overall, the pros are: friendly, accomodating owner / manager who seemed truly concerned that you were pleased with your stay, free WIFI, quiet location (and only about 6 miles from Tanger Outlet). Cons: rooms could be cleaner for me.

This was a last minute pick for us. We did not do any research before we booked in here. Bonus it has a pool and in the heat of South Carolina that was great.
Room could not be picky as they were pretty much fully booked when we got there. We had two beds as needed it also had a kitchen, the view from the room was overlooking the pool and the highway. This was not the cleanest of rooms by any means, walking with no footware in the room I would not advise unless you want black feet.
Breakfast in the morning was a real joke, no real food to speak of some thing called a honey bun in a plastic wrap was the best thing there. No place to sit at all, had to take the cold egg with shell still on back to our room.

Stayed 1 week while house hunting in Conway
had a nice studio with stove etc.
Very Friendly staff and owner was present most
of the time we stayed.
