The room was a typical Embassy Suites, one of the newer ones, the breakfast was nice.

The problem was the floor in the bathroom was sticky, so sticky I had to put towels down, of course, then they stuck to my feet. It was after I used my hand towel to cover the sticky floor, I realized I only had one hand towel.

I stopped by the front desk to let them know, and while the young man working at the counter was very apologetic, he did not ask what room number I was in and when I volunteered it, he did not stop what he was doing to write it down or make note of it.

Very nice rooms as long as you stay on the upper-most floors. Anything lower tends to get noisy fast as there are a great deal of families staying here. Assume that there will be a lot of traffic with that note. Hotel is literally within a mile of Riverbanks zoo.

This Embassy Suites is my favorite. We've had our family Christmas reunion here now for 6 years. Its half way between where my family lives and where my brother and his family live. Never had a problem with anything. This hotel hosts alot of Christmas parties but, it's never been a problem. Love the managers reception and breakfast the next morning. I would not heistate to recomend this Embassy Suites to other people. The staff is great.

The room was above average and comfy. However, the reservation was for 2 adults and 2 children in a room w/ a King bed & a sleeper sofa. So clearly the 2 kids were going to be sleeping on the sofa. Some bedding (pillows, blankets) and bath towels would have been nice. But we had to call and have those brought up and it took FOREVER. Plus, the bathroom was not very clean. When I spot long, dark hair in the corner of the tub just from a quick walk into the room, it is not clean. Also, our room opened out to the atrium of the hotel. There was at least a 1.5" opening from the base of the door to the floor of the room, so noise from that atrium was incredibly loud and unavoidable.
