The young man working the desk was very pleasant. The rooms are bit run-down, but it is an older motel and the price is low, so I guess one has to weight options. It looked clean at first, but after a few hours the 'glow' wore off. The bathroom was clean, but the carpet, walls, light switches etc. need a good cleaning (to the point were I really didn't want to take my shoes off). Still, since the price was so low we took it in stride...until bedtime. I woke up to roaches of all sizes on the night table next to the bed. I'd kill one, and two took its place. There were baby roaches under the clock and a couple in the desk drawer across the room. It was 1:30am, but we went and asked for a different room. In the second room we were greeted by a more roaches on the nightstands. We tried a third room with same results. So at 2:00am, we packed our bags and moved a new motel. The clerk at the Quality Inn didn't seem very concerned, nor did the manager when we called to cancel our reservation. the following day. All-in-all...the price wasn't worth losing sleep due to being on 'roach patrol'
