I have stayed in several places in Columbia and this is the best so far ... not because it is six star not because the room is the best in the USA... However I found this a great balance, my room was a good size, floors wooden which made me think of an old fashion European hotel. The room was good, normal facilities, fairly quiet, good temperature control. The thing that made me really like this place however, was the service, the staff could not do enough for an request or question ... it felt genuine.

I also used the gym it had a few machines all with inbuilt TV and entertainment systems, which was great.

Nice place, friendly staff, good location close to sites and walking distance from the restaurants.

I expect way more out of Starwood properties. The good things: Location, nice roof top bar, and nice bathroom.
Issues with our stay: We stay at Starwood properties because they are normally very nice hotels that accept pets. This property is not a good property to stay at with your pet. $75 fee and limited exercise areas. Rooms were very small. Also, they charged an additional night stay to our credit card. It took over a week of leaving messages everyday for someone to call me back(which they never did) - finally got hold of someone that could help me, to resolve the situation. Next time we will stay at the Marriott or Hilton.

I have stayed here many times in a variety of room, always great and have never had any problems. The staff, rooms, bars, food, and amentities at this hotel will not disappointment. The location is also good for walking distance to some good restaurants downtown. I have stayed at several hotels downtown and are very surprised that this is not rated number 1.
