This hotel is not in the scenic part of town and frankly, you could get closer to many of the attractions of Columbia. But you wouldn't get such a great bargain. We had a nice time at this place. It was very, very quiet, although from what I could see it was starting to fill up for parents' weekend at USC. The breakfast was just fine - the waffles were delicious. The room was immaculately clean, though I thought the furniture a bit dated. When we asked for the maid to forgo a cleaning and just leave towels and coffee, she did. The bed was comfortable; the pillows were fine. The internet is iffy but free and there is a terminal in the lobby for everyone to use. There are in-room AC units that are loud but we sleep with it off anyway. We had business at USC and this is a bit of a haul, especially during what is a thick rush hour. But it's convenient to a couple of freeways as well as the zoo. And if you like bowling, it's right next door!

Not far from highway, good Italian resto next door, rooms clean and quiet. Desk guy Ben very helpful when a small emergency arose and we needed help finding a drug store.

Will def. stay again.

Our Grandson's baseball team made it to the World Series held in Lexington, SC. Our Team chose The Best Western Executive Inn & Suites in Columbia, SC for our team and families. When we arrived, there was a large sign welcoming us all. Check-in was quick and effiecient, the rooms were wonderful. They were large and clean and stocked with clean towels, soap, shampoo and coffee. Everyone was very friendly and there to accomodate us. I am not a morning person so I never experienced the continental breakfast but was told by my Step-daughter that it was great. All the kids on the team loved it. I did love the coffee that was available all day. The staff held a pizza party for our team and coaches which was great. They displayed action pictures of the team in the lobby and made sure the lobby was comfortable for us all. Housekeeping did and excellent job keeping all our rooms cleaned and stocked.

Best pay in cash,best not let credit cards ect. out of site or even swiped !!!!!! get all paper work and check bank statement as soon as you can. Only recommend under these terms.
