The Best Western (Bush River Road, Columbia) is situated perfectly, just outside of the downtown area, yet close to malls and restaurants.
The staff is courteous and friendly. Rooms are clean with internet connections. The facility has a pool and and an exercise facility It is comfortable and affordable (literally steps from the Villa, for those who like easy italian, and other fine eateries). Perfect for Carolina football weekends for those arrive tired and don't need additional driving for dinner plans. The room costs are priced competitely.
It's like home away from home, where we'll stay on weekend trips over and over again.

My rating is relative to the price. The service was good and the room was clean and comfortable. AC was fantastic - I like it ice cold and often cannot get it at hotels. Location is not the best, but convenient to restaurants, Wal-Mart, I-126 to downtown, etc. I'll stay here next time I have to stay overnight in Columbia.

Check in was quick and friendly. Room was very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The continental breakfast was very good. The young lady at the front desk was very friendly and offered some restaurant suggestions to us. The Italian restaurant next door had really good food. As a travel agent, I would highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel was great. The front desk personnel was friendly, and helpful. The lobby is spacious and welcoming. Our room was SPOTLESS and very very comfortable. It is between two restaurants. El Chico, Mexican, and The Villa, Italian. The food at the villa was delicious and reasonably priced, as was the food at El Chico. Thank you Best Western.
