We stayed here Jan. 27 & 28 while visiting our daughter and her boyfriend who live close by in Cayce, SC. I booked a King Suite for $143/night, the web rate. While this is a charming and well-done renovation of an older home, and very comfortable and scrupulously clean. it is not a super-luxurious inn, just very nice and comfortable. Part of the old home has been renovated into rooms and public areas, but they saved most of the old architectual features, and it's beautiful. There are wings on either side with more rooms, as well as conference and meeting spaces.
Our room was divided into a bedroom and separate small living area. Furnishings were nice, but not overly fancy. Bedding was very nice and comfortable. Bath was nice, but again, not luxurious. We enjoyed the wonderful buffet breakfast, included, and the self-parking. Service was great, and very friendly. Location is fabulous, right next to USC campus, which we walked in the mornings, and a residential area of older homes. Very pretty place in a nice area of town. We are not alums, but I can only imagine how much fun it is to stay here on game weekends!
We'll stay here again when we visit the next time.
