We stayed here for a business trip for my husband, one night on our way to our destination and one night back. The pool is rather small but the rooms are clean. I wiped away cobbwebbs from the front desk as we inquired to why the exhaust fan didn't work or why the cable was so fuzzy if therewas an issue with the cable company. (Both trips, two different rooms this happened) We were not offered any help, just rudely asked if we wanted to post a complaint.
Since it was a business trip, we needed a receipt for the room, you woould have thought we were asking for a glass of water in the Saraha. I didn't think that hitting print was so hard and should be questioned as to why we wanted one.
My husband accidentally left his phone charger in the room. I called immediately that evening. We were told that no one had been in the room, only that it had been cleaned. We were told that it was not there. I think that it is a shame that hotel employees confiscate your items if you happen to forget them in a room. I would never stay in this hotel again. I recommend if you are looking for a great room and a great hotel experience, stay at the Hampton Inn on Gervais St in downtown Columbia, SC. Food is much better and they even offer you happy hour.
