Stayed here recently for a football game. The front desk person was excellent, she even recognized I was Priority Club member. Surprising how often that doesn't happen, as much as HI promotes it.

The room was huge with a frig and microwave. I did not expect that, and was very happy to find it. Clean and quiet, good location. Nice looking hotel on the inside. Good internet connection. We got back late at night, and were looking for a grocery store but did not find one. But accidentally found a WalMart tucked back off a side road that had what we needed. You may have to ask the at the desk to find it. The breakfast was fine, the usual HIE fare.

When I stay in Columbia again and am not downtown, this will be one of the locations I check. Very happy with it. No, not a 5 star hotel, but for what you expect and what you get, it met and exceeded my expectations.

We stayed at this hotel on our way to Atlanta. The room was a very long room with two beds and a sofabed. It worked for the 5 of us, but I don't think we would want to stay there for more than one night.
To get extra blankets we had to go down to the desk and pick them up. The blankets were still a little wet and housekeeping was already gone for the day so we had to make do with damp blankets.
The place was clean and the breakfast was good. For the price we will find a hotel with a pool next time.

Stayed here while in a business trip. Check in was fast and they give you a bag with water & chips; in addition there are fresh cookies in the afternoon. The breakfast was ok with a couple of hot items plus the usual pastries. On a Wednesday afternoon the hotel had free wine/beer plus some appetizers like hot wings and pasta. I didn’t expect that but it was great. The room was clean and functional. There was free WiFi available and worked perfectly in my room. I’ve stayed in other hotels in the Columbiana area but will be back to this one definitively.

We stayed at this hotel last year on our way to Myrtle Beach. Stayed overnight again this year and were not disappointed, another very good experience. The front desk and breakfast room staff are very friendly and customer oriented. The breakfast items should satisfy anyone. We highly recommend this hotel.
