My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights for my son's graduation from Ft. Jackson. We loved it. The room was very clean and the staff was very nice and very helpful with anything we needed. The location is great it's by lots of restaurants and close to the base. I also felt very safe which is extremely important to me especially when I don't know where I am. This was our first trip to Columbia. There was one thing that was a bit of a nuisance there is a train that comes by unannounced early in the morning and blows it's horn. It happened twice. Other than that if I were to ever travel to Columbia again I would definitely stay here again.

My family made reservations as soon as we found out when my nephew would be graduating from basic training at Fort Jackson. These were made almost two months ago. Last night I found out that we got a call from this hotel and our reservation was given away to "someone else", therefore we were relocated to another hotel and because of this, they were paying for our first night. They moved us to a lower standard hotel!! One that did not have the same benefits this one had and why we chose this one!! If we had the reservation in first, why didn't they make someone else give their's up that just recently made the reservations? I don't believe the excuse that they are giving our rooms to service men because the army would not bring service men to the area and not have rooms for them on base!! THe customer service just screwed up and don't want to admit it!!!

I stayed here for family day and graduation at Ft. Jackson. It was close to the base (two exits away) and the staff was great. They even had directions to the base at the desk when you check in. There were plenty of places nearby to eat and the room was clean and quiet. There was a refrigerator and a microwave and both were clean and convenient.

The only complaint I would have is that the parking didn't seem adequate for the number of rooms. There was a carpet store that seemed to share the parking lot and the sign said the parking on that side was only for the carpet store. It was closed and a lot of people parked there, but it would seem there would have been more spots for a two story hotel. (I didn't park at the carpet store because I was afraid of getting towed).
