Staff was helpful, knowledgable and courteous. Breakfast was great. Rooms were clean and roomy. A wonderful experience all around!

I've stayed here a few times while working in town and have had no complaints at all. The rooms are clean and the free breakfast is very good. I would recommend others to stay there who are visiting the area.

Jameson Inn's are typically a good choice for a nice place to stay in smaller towns. I use them frequently when traveling for field trials and stay at this particular property quite frequently.

It is the best choice in Cheraw, which says more about Cheraw than this hotel. It is generally fairly clean and reasonably comfortable.

However, management is by far the worst in the whole Jameson system. Reservations are typically not honored. They will almost always try to give you a worse room than you confirmed for the same price. When questioned, their response is typically an obvious lie and you have to spend almost half an hour arguing with them to get what you reserved (if it is possible by the time you check in).

Make sure you check in as early as possible so that the management will toss some other poor sucker into the double smoking and you get the premium king you reserved.

Not very well maintained, not up to most Jameson standards, overpriced for what you get, but this is Cheraw so lower your expectations.
