We got moved here after the hotel we booked had roaches all over the place and no extra room to give us. We absolutely loved it! It was very clean and the customer service was amazing! The lady who worked the front desk was quick to get us checked in and helped us get settled into a room that was in a good section away from the current construction and was just helpful all around. Every time we went to the front desk for anything, we got great customer service from everyone! We will be staying here next time we return to Charleston!

My husband and I stayed here for our weekend trip to Charleston. When we arrived, our first impressions were that this place was a dump! However, it's really only terrible looking on the outside. Our room was surprisingly nice and modern. It was pretty clean too. The location was very convenient to historic charleston, and we saved a bunch of $$ by staying here instead of one of the expensive places downtown. My only complaint is that the website and the front desk staff were misleading about breakfast. We assumed it was complimentary when the front desk told us that ' breakfast was served from 7-11am.' We ate a pretty average breakfast buffet and then were shocked to receive a bill for $20!!! all we ate was some eggs and a biscuit. Make sure you know that breakfast is definitely not included! All in all, this place was average and pretty forgettable, but a convenient place nonetheless.

Just left the Town and Country Inn this pat weekend, First off asked for a smoking room and got a non, then was told by front desk that we should stay in the room and smoke outside.

THE ROOM STUNK!!!! No air freshner, etc could hide that funk. It stayed in my clothes for days. The wi fi was nonexistent, hotel guest were walking around with laptops trying to get a signal. The lounge and buffet were decent staff helpful,

The pool smelled like there was a sewege problem and smells terrible and to my azamement saw some guests kids in the water. Ugghh...The bath was stained black and looked worn,

Upside - the bed was comfortable and the furniture was quite nice,

Room servie ends at 9PM so do not get hungry

Cleaning staf was OK but the toiletries limited

The complex is full of construction worker and there is active construction going on

Overall I would not stay here again....

I stayed at this hotel for a conference I was attending. The food in the restaurant was not too bad but the hotel rooms were attrocious. The bed, however, was extremely comfortable. The carpeting was filthy. I was afaid to walk in barefeet and kept my socks on. The bottom of the socks were black when I got home! Also, while the conference room was ok, they wouldn't give us pitchers of water. They said, "we don't do that in South Carolina." that may be true, I don't know, but we were forced to buy bottles of water. They also didn't service the room overnight and all the garbage from the box lunches from the previous day were still there in the morning.
