This downtown hostel offers an excellent location, price, and amenities for travelers wanting to see the Holy City on a budget. Free breakfast, wi-fi, comfortable beds, clean rooms, and free parking are just some of the perks of staying in this downtown hostel. Charleston's NotSo Hostel is a great place to start any visit to Charleston. The staff is helpful and several historic sites are in walking distance. Enjoy!

Very clean rooms, bathroom and kitchen.
Only complaint: we stayed during a cold-snap and we were not supplied with enough blankets on the first night, so we froze. On our second night we were able to get more blankets because the hostel was not full, so we could take them from other beds.

I stayed at the NotSo Hostel in December for about 4 days and I was very satisfied with my stay. It was clean and the staff was very nice, helpful, and professional. I felt as if I was staying at the home of friends or relatives. I got my money's worth and then some. I've only stayed at one other hostel (which was not in Charleston), so I'm not an expert, but I simply cannot imagine getting anything better for the money. From now on, whenever I go to Charleston, unless I'm in the mood to splurge on a pricey hotel, I'll be staying at the NotSo Hostel.

This is a fantastic hostel. Its very clean, bathrooms are nice and not run down and thebreakfast is great. The staff (Nicole, Emily and Vikki) are awesome, and the area is a close to good food, and walkable to the highlights of charleston.
