While travelling to Florida we spent the night in this hotel. The outside is very decieving. This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The rugs were worn and ragged, the bedspread had rips in it and the door wouldn't shut unless slammed. There was nothing in the bathroom except two hotel measly bars of soap, no hair dryer, shampoo and only 2 towels that you could spit through. It was dirty and if we hadn't been travelling for 14 hours we would have moved on.

It was very dirty outside the room also. The rugs were stained and in dire need of cleaning. I have only stayed in a Motel 6 once before and it was quite nice, but I will never stay in one again after this experience. If I could give it an honest rating it would be a -10. Very scary!!!!!

The prior reviews about this property are true. The rooms appaer to be clean until you check closely. House keeping had to clean my room twice to get it ready. The bedspread had a cigarette burn on it. This property is just ok.

Disgusting motel. There were old mattresses sitting outside, and not enough parking spots. Inside the room smelled like urine. One of the two double beds had multiple pubic hairs on it indicating the sheets hadn't been changed since the last guess. Other bed had burn hole in the sheet and some sort of black dirt/ particles which could have been potentially the result of bed bugs. Also, there was a small hole in the bathroom wall and the door couldn't shut all the way due to warping. The only positive is that they refunded our money and we got out of their and went to a safer hotel down the road that night.

I just came to Charleston to visit a friend. We suggested that we'll stay at the Motel 6 to spend time together. The check in area seem really nice, so I just knew the rooms were nice. As soon as I open the door, I notice the carpet was VERY nasty! The place was really packed so we couldn't get another room. Plus, this was something in our budget. As I pulled to covers back on the bed, I notice something that looked like blood stains at the bottom of the box spring. Trash were everywhere! All you see is little white pieces of paper all around the room. Not to mention, the loud ghetto crackheads and bums hanging around. I was really scared! You can smell people smoking who knows what and why from the next door. It was just awful. I give this Motel 6 500 thumbs down!
