My husband and I went for a long weekend with our 2 year old toddler. We were concerned about taking a small child to such a fancy hotel, but we shouldn't have worried. The staff was great and very accomodating to us. The rooms are very large and have a kitchen (which is why we booked here due to taking our child with us.) The location is perfect. We walked everywhere. I cannot say enough how the staff went out of their way to help us with anything we needed. One night we were simply exhausted (I was pregnant with our second child) and they offered to go pick up our dinner anywhere we wanted. We loved the basket of food in the morning they delivered. It was wonderful to choose what we wanted and then have it delivered to eat at our leisure.

My husband and I are planning on going back and staying there again for our anniversary. You will not be disappointed in this hotel nor the staff.

We had a great stay here last September. The staff was great and very willing to do anything to help with directions, reservations or any questions you might have. We did have a little trouble finding it, seems that GPS is not reliable in this part of the city. Once we found it we couldn't have been happier. A 5 minute walk to the market area and lots of great restaurants all around. It was really nice to have the breakfast basket every morning and a full size refridgerator stocked with water and soft drinks. A great full kitchen if you want to fix your own meals and a washer and dryer too. We were on the third floor and had no problems with noise and a great view of King Street. We really love visiting Charleston and would stay here again. It was more like staying in a condo but with breakfast delivery and a cleaning crew daily!

This boutique hotel is a unique place to stay in Charleston. Great location makes walking to all the downtown landmarks easy. Service was great - all of the staff went out of their way to make everything perfect. It was so quiet and peaceful. The full kitchen is a great bonus, but if you don't want to cook, there are many great restaurants nearby. We needed the handicapped accessible room and it was very easy to get around.

We first arrived at this hotel at just past midnight, after a series of flights across two countries. We were at first dismayed to find that the front desk lost our reservation. Someone thought we were a no-show earlier in the week and had charged us a one night penalty. The clerk then found our reservation and worked very hard to organize a room for us. The next day, they told us that not only were we going to be able to stay for the whole six night reservation, but that we would get the first night free (about $500). This was followed the day after that by a bottle of champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries!
After that, we had to change rooms, which really wasn't a big deal, but they then gave us two large bottles of wine--one white and one red!
Even if we hadn't received all these presents, we would still come back to this hotel, because it really was beautiful. Not only was the location perfect, but the rooms (both of them) were really great. Even a washer/dryer! This hotel is fairly new (about a year and a half old), so the staff still needs to iron out a few kinks, but we'd definitely recommend it to anyone!
