My stay at the Francis Marion Hotel was wonderful! The fantastic staff got me reservations at wonderful and exclusive restaurants--Husk, High Cotton, Coast, Magnolias, and more!

The room was beautiful. It had fantastic views of King St., Calhoun St., and the bay.

The bed was so luxurious that it made coming back to the hotel for a nap a must!

Perfect vacation!

We enjoyed a 4 day weekend in Charleston and could not have stayed at a better hotel. The location, quality, and staff all exceeded our expectation!

I attended a conference last week and have been so busy I didn't really have time to research where I was headed, so the Francis Marion Hotel was a pleasant surprise. It's a very old hotel and has plenty of southern charm. The meeting rooms were pretty nice and the guest rooms were well done. The bathroom was tiny, but that's expected for such an old building. Our room had a large walk-in closet (if only we could have swapped the bathroom and the closet sizes it would have been perfect). My only complaint with the maid service was our trash cans were never emptied during our three-night stay. Kind of icky when you have to look at empty cups and apple cores. On the bright side, the beds and pillows were quite comfortable. Would return again.

I returned to beautiful, historic Charleston and once again stayed at the Francis Marion Hotel. What an excellent experience. Beautiful old world charm and elegance takes you out of the rat race and into the historic slow, gentile southern hospitality. Love the rooms and decor, the lobby, the free wifi and the wonderful staff! Pillow top comfortable beds for pleasant restful sleeping! Location close to everything that is wonderful about Charleston....and in walking distance. The food was superb. I will be returning in June to host a conference in this elegant establishment....and ....I cannot wait to go back. Thank you!
