Paid $48 for a night and it was too much.... Rustic and old bedroom, noisy and seen an insecteduring my shower ( not said to my wife.... oups). I was really surprised to find a bottle opener when you are in the toilet ... is it normal ??? Difficult to think drinking while....

So Correct bedroom , wifi works great but breakfast is minimalist....
We hed not reserved, this time, by advance on the web and ,before finding that motel, we had checked prices on the motels along the highway to Savannah and prices were high ( Econolodge $50 + tax, Motel 6 not intersting ) or unsafe as the Redroof at $37 on a sign, $40 on site with bad people walking around the hotel....

The Knight inn was, by this way, the last choice and it was finally correct... we have known worse and that because the note is average.

I'm actually writing this review while in their room and waiting on a taxi to take me to a better hotel. I guess you can't expect much for a sleazy looking motel but I thought $130 for 3 nights would at least get me something clean. ROACHES!! Crawling on my headboard, my end table, and the walls above my head. I was typing on my laptop in the dark and I thought it was a random bug, I turned on the light and saw a grown up roach! Disgusting!!! At 3am I marched to the front office and the guy just gave me a refund for tomorrow night telling me he's never heard of a "roach problem" and how they spray, yet there are 3 other reviews on this very page speaking of the infestation, I am supposed to call back for the $100 I've paid already for previous nights. He offered me another room but we all know that if they are in one room, they are in ALL of them. No Thank you!

The thought of possible roaches crawling on me last night creep me out! Also, the mattress looks to be an obvious stain of blood running on the sides. Yikes, I knew they did gruesome things like this in motels in the movies but I never thought I'd be living an actual nite mare staying at this place. Stay Away! I took pics and vids of the roaches crawling, yuck!

Looking for a budget motel ? This ain't the one!... How did it get ranked 7?.. Nasty dirty walls, reservation got lost on the computer, and yes Cockroaches! caught two... five or six escaped, hope none got in the luggage!
Advised man at desk when leaving and give him one dead roach. He had no comment.(Not even sorry!)

Long story short. When I got to this horrid place, the reception area looked as though they got furniture out of the garbage and decorated their small lobby. Then I went to my room and that's when it all started. My first room had a big dead bug in the lighting, the bathroom was dirty, they claimed it was a non-smoking room but it smelled of smoke and had an ashtray, I went back to the, what they called a reception area, and told the reception about this. I requested another room thinking that the reception area and one room should not stigmatize the whole motel; perhaps it will get better. Well, it got worse. When I got into this room, the were ants crawling in the tub, up the bathroom wall, there were small bugs smashed on the room's wall. There was a tiny roach crawling on the ac. Just like my first room, the entrance door to this room was 1/2 - 1 inch away from the frame, leaving a hug opening between the door and the door's frame, where bugs can come into your room. When I pulled the covers on the beds back, there was a long hair on one pillow and a dirty spot on the other. I said that's it, I'm out of here. After a calm discussion with the receptionist for several minutes, about a half or an hour when by before she was finally authorized to give me a full refund. My trip was saved when I went down the street to Days Inn. Go to my review to Days Inn to continue this saga.
