We were on the ground floor in a large king. It was very comfortable and quiet. The ac/heat wasn't overly loud and kept the room at a comfortable temperature. The counter in the bathroom was a nice size and everything was clean and worked well. The closet isn't very deep so we just left the closet door open. The breakfast was adequate. The eggs were good, as well as the cinnamon rolls, but the orange juice was a little watered down. The gentleman at the table next to us didn't like the pancakes at all, but we heard no one else complain about the breakfast offerings. There is a fireplace in the breakfast area and the lobby which should have been turned on as the outside temperatures were in the 30's so quite chilly. Not once did we see a fire which would have been nice. The rating is a very good as our stay is what we would have expected for a small town Holiday Inn Express. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room needed updating but it appeared clean.

Room appeared to be clean, but there was trash on the floor. I check in late and waiting until the morning to inform the front desk. They did not appear to be concerned and did not offer to comp even part of the cost of one night's stay. Had similar experience at Comfort Inn across the street, which is why I switched to Holiday Inn. At least the Comfort Inn comped half of the charge......

We got here ready to crawl in bed and.... there was fresh menstrual blood on the sheets!!!!! Was so disgusting. They moved us to another room but the manager acted like he could care less. Never again will we stay here. Absolut worst hotel expierence EVER!!!!!!!!!

Was in Camden SC for a funeral so it was a sad occasion. Immediately was greeted with a warm smile. The hotel was clean but has a weird smell. The pool also had a lot of bugs. I used my debit card and more money than what was owed was held up. I stayed for three nights but for some reason my debit card was credited (money held up) for four nights. I called and spoke to the owner but no changes were made. I was told the money is only on hold. I tried to explain that I needed to be able to access my money now but no changes were made. I had the same problem when I stayed at the Comfort Inn which is across the street and owned by the same owner. I was told in advance my card would not be charged until I checked out which was not true. The card was credited when I checked in. I would stay at this hotel again, only if I did not have to use a debit or credit card.
