Just stayed 3 nites at this really pleasant facility. Very comfortable room (bed was great), spotless, roomy for the two of us. Complimentary breakfast room was also very nicely appointed and food was good. Outdoor tables looking out onto Bay St and the water directly across, fantastic. Ideal place to stay if you want to see beautiful Beaufort SC. Had several interactions with office staff and each one was pleasant and accommodating. Will be our go-to place for future visits to the area.

We have stayed here many times and keep coming back again and again when we are in this area. This property is exceptional in its location, amenities, food service, rooms, friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, and cleanliness of the entire facility. Every dollar spent is worth every cent. Highly recommend.

This is a no-frills motel with friendly, helpful staff and a great location. Our room was small but fine for our needs and it contained a fridge and microwave (and a bowl of candy!). We were worried that there would be a lot of noise in the morning, but it wasn't too bad. The breakfast buffet was a typical one with yogurt, fruit, toast, cereal, eggs, etc. The waffles were really good! My only complaint is that upon checking in we were told that breakfast would be until 9:30 every day. However on the second day there they were closing things down at 9:00 and we were sternly rebuked for showing up at the last minute. The woman running the breakfast that day was not very friendly or happy to see us (maybe she was just having a rough morning). She also told us that it's common for people to misunderstand the breakfast schedule because it is basically different every day of the week. My suggestion would be to standardize this schedule. Overall we felt like this was a good motel to stay at, especially for the price.

Stayed @ The Best Western Plus "Sea Island Inn" in Beaufort, Sc for Annual Shrimp Festival. All @ this Best Western reminds you of staying in lake region in Europe, especially it's sidewalk cafe tables & umbrellas where you can enjoy you free,delicious breakfast/coffee/paper/ book/park & marina view/or passerbys.
If ever in Beaufort or nearby do stay at least a night to experience this hotel/people/& town's charm!!!!
