My son was graduating from Parris Island so we were traveling with entire family. Grandparents; aunt and uncle; aunt and her kids, girlfriend and me and my kids. The staff was awesome. They helped us locate area restaurants, urgent care (neice was ill), pharmacy and made our New Marine feel very welcomed and appreciated. When you travel with 14 people it is nice to be in one area which they made sure our rooms were all together. Close to the door and easy access for my parents. Shiv the GM ook the time to talk with us each day to see if there was anything we needed. I would highly recommend this hotel to all Marine families and tourist!

We stayed at the Country Inn in Beaufort the night of January 3rd. We were attending my nephew's funeral on the 4th. The Country Inn is showing signs of wear; it is in need of repairs as well as a good cleaning. That is the downside. As far as the staff is concerned, they couldn't have been any nicer, especially Alia Manning at the Front Desk. Alia was wonderful. She made every effort to make a sad occasion as pleasant as possible. The staff was great. There was a hot breakfast in the morning, including eggs and waffles; a nice way to start the day.

The hotel was very clean. The breakfast was OK, lots of starches - including sausage gravy. The man at the front desk, Myron, was very polite and helpful and gave us information about restaurants and getting around Beaufort. We got the room through priceline for about $50. We did get the room across from the elevator but we couldn't hear it.

Special comment for Myron at Front Desk. He was always smiling & very helpful, courteous. One of the nicest front desk people I have experienced and made a very positive impact on us for the hotel.
