My family needed a place to stay for my brother's graduation from Marines boot camp, so we booked the cheapest hotel we could find in Beaufort. It wasn't until after we booked that we decided to check out the hotel's reviews. When we read the disgusting reviews from past guests we actually called to cancel our reservations, but the staff informed us the hotel had recently been renovated and under new management, so we decided to give it a shot. We were all pleasantly surprised to find friendly staff, clean rooms, and a GREAT location (right in the middle of Beaufort's "strip" of restaurants and shops and close to camp on Parris Island). My wife is a certified germaphobe, and even she was pleased. There were, however, a few drawbacks - 1. the second morning we had no hot water, 2. the continental breakfast is extremely skimpy and once it runs out, they don't replenish, and 3. they don't offer many extra amenities. I NEVER write hotel reviews, but I figured this hotel deserves a better reputation. If I could, I would give it 3.5 stars. If I ever have to visit Beaufort again, I would definitely consider this hotel - it's cheap, but worth every penny!

Okay so where do I begin? I came to the area to attend a graduation. Upon my arrival, I was greeted by a man who had no personality and a shirt that was dirty as dirt. Not only could I smell him a mile away, being a vegan I was totally turned off by his eagerness to eat like a sloppy pig in front of me. Oh did I mention he was barefooted. YUK!

Now the rooms. Well, didn't notice til' the following morning but, I was torn up by either bed bugs or fleas. It was awful. Never in my life had I ever needed to apply bug spray before getting into a bed.

And the breakfast! What breakfast? That is a joke. They have this frig with milk and Sunny D. I actually witnessed an old lady smelling the jug to see if it was bad. Then on top of that, the two tables that were there I assume to sit at were filthy. I told the old lady who was working but, I assume she has a hearing problem because rather than cleaning the tables she brought me a spoon. WHen I asked her what the spoon was for, she told me I could get my own milk! Either she needs a hearing aid or she is losing her mind........... maybe both.

My family went for the Beaufort Airshow. The hotel is located in a nice part of town. We were very close to everything, dining, shopping. The staff at the hotel was very friendly and helpful. The hotel had just been remodeled. Our room had new carpet, new tile, new paint. Our room was very clean. There's not a lot of amenities, but it's a nice place to stay. We were very pleased and would definately stay there again if we were in the area.

Well I went to Best Inn last month for my boyfriends Marine graduation.
When we finally arrived to the hotel, I walked in the lobby and immediatley smelled a smoking stench. The lobby itself looks nasty!!!!
Then I get the key to the room and we stay on the 2nd floor. The beds had ugly dingy old covers on them with stains. I don't know if we were placed in this room because we had a 1year old or what.
The microwave is sooo bootleg. You have to press the dash in between the start and stop button to turn it on.
One of the beds broke for no reason when I sat on it and I am not fat at all!!! What the h***!
I would advise no one to go there. The good thing is that we were moved to another room on the first floor that did not have ugly old 18 centry sheets. And the nonsmoking room smelled like smoke. The pillow case smelled like smoke which leads me to believe it was not washed!!! GRRRRRRRR! Horrible Horrrible Horrible! This hotel receives a F!
