The staff was really nice, not to mention helpful. And the housekeeping did a great job freshening up our room. And the 24 hour coffee just made our stay perfect!

We come to HHI every year and stay in this hotel in Beaufort. This was the perfect price for our reasoning on staying there! 100% Satisfied!

If you are only looking for a cheap, safe place to stay then this should be your pick. The carpet in our room did not look like it had been vacuumed, the breakfast area tables were always dirty and they did not bother to give us additional toilet paper when they "cleaned" our room. When we called down to the front desk, we were told we could come get more. Most of the tables by the pool had burnt marks on them and several of the chairs were broken. The pool clearly had some sort of scum on the bottom and was filled with bugs. My brother-in-laws sheets had stains on them, which I had read in another review so I guess we should have expected it. We were told that if you stay on a Friday night that things are quite rowdy due to Marine graduations. Since they have a bottle opener screwed to the trim of the bathroom, I tend to believe it. My opinion was this place was barely above camping in a tent.

This was the 1st time we had traveled with a small dog (we adopted last Christmas). The pet friendly hotel choices in Beaufort were quite limited and we chose Sleep Inn. The reviews I had read were not great, but I chose it over the other two choices. The young lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The open areas were pleasant. Our room was large, but did have a bit of an odor (it was designated as a room for pets) . It is a older hotel and could use some updating. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was fine-(lots of carbs). We went to Beaufort to go to Hunting Island-the front desk had a pass we were able to borrow so we save a little money. The hot tub and swimming pool were not opened yet. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with very friendly staff!!
