“Nice People for Horrible Place”

I have made a reservation throgh Orbitz and room picture look good on website when i checked in on around 10: pm outside parking have group of people doing a party and loud noise . i was so tired and went in the room have no walking space all over big furniture. dark room like i was enter in hell room smell like dead rat so i called @ front desk and ask for another room and guy at desk not speak english properly he does not understand what i said. i went to the desk and another pregnant lady came @ desk she also not understad at all this is my worst experience in my life i walk away and check in to another hotel
HOTEL GOT A SLOGAN " NICE PLACE FOR NICE PEOPLE" BUT I CAN SAY " NICE PEOPLE FOR HORRIBLE PLACE" NEVER STAY AGAIN

To whom it may concern
We are extremely sorry about your bad experience & Inconvenience in past. i been here since 1997 and never have seen that people are doing party in parking lot. also which owner will let any one do party and hurt their business? also we have fully train staff working at our hotel. i didn't see any one works here that don't speak english. also we have been using Professional Certified pest control every month. again sorry for your bad experience. In future if you are visiting our area please stop by and check us out again. Recently we have upgraded many things in room. Like Brand New carpet, vassal sink, mattress, bed covering, paintings.

“O.K for a couple of hours”

1. Poorly painted and electrical covers hanging off of wall.
2. Rooms smelt like sewer.
3. Staff (older female of the two) rude.
4. Free Breakfast a joke, better food out of vending machine.
5. Rooms nasty.
6. Not worth the $65 a night we paid.
7. Hard core porn on channels with full access to anyone. Does not cost extra.
8. Poor and limited parking. If your neighbor brings a friend you loose your parking space.
9. Ice machine gave more water than ice.
10. Room was not cleaned properly from one day to the next. Trash was not taken out, no new towels were given, etc.

This hotel/motel is great for a couple of hours, but no longer than that.I would NEVER stay here again. Had there been vacancies within Barnwell at another hotel I would have moved.

to whom it may concern
we are extremely sorry about bad experience in past.
1) we have hire the Professional painter to paint the rooms. i don't know where you have seen poorly painted rooms. we been getting very good compliments about room painting. (we have recently painted all the rooms in year 2010) About Electrical covers, that day my housekeeper must be forgot to let us know. we are sorry for that. usally we take care room maintenance right way we find out.
2) we clean our motel rooms everyday. we don't know where that smell came from, but again we are sorry for that.
3) Staff, sorry for the bad experience with the staff. we do have fully train staff working at our hotel.
4) About Breakfast, we serve just continental breakfast, not a full breakfast. but again we are sorry for we didn't meet your expectation and we will look in to it to upgrade breakfast stuff.
5) Room Nasty???? bigest question mark for me. again sorry for we didn't meet your expectations. In future if you are visiting our area please stop by and check us out again. Recently (year 2011 & 2012) we have upgraded many things in room. Like Brand New carpet, vassal sink, mattress, bed covering, paintings.
6) we are sorry that your hard earn money didnt worth for your stay. in future if you visit us we will give you 20% discount of our regular rate.
7) i been here since 1997 and we never have Porn channel in our property.
8) we have enough parking that city have required by rooms. if some guest bring two cars or some one can come visit them, we can't stop them and i am sure that we do have enough parking space for about 45 cars.
9) i have never seen that ice machine gave water insted of ice. if ice machine don't work then it wont give you the ice but not water. so this is big question for me and we have put brand new ice machine in year 2006. electric thing never know when its going to stop working. but we do our best to keep up with our equipments.
10) about room cleaning we do have policy that we clean rooms everyday if is stay overs or check outs. some how if stay over guest says they don't need room service or our housekeeper see's do not distrub sign then we don't go in room and clean. again sorry for Inconveniences.

In future if you are visiting our area please stop by and check us out again. Recently we have upgraded many things in room. Like Brand New carpet, vassal sink, mattress, bed covering, paintings.
we will try our level best to make our customer happy and make their stay comfort.

“Try Elsewhere First”

Numerous problems.
1) Wanted two non smoking rooms and Orbitz confirmed. We got one non-smoking and one smoking.
2) One of rooms had four lamps. Three had no bulbs and one had one bulb.
3) Flourscent bulb over sink blinked like a strobe light.
4) Exterior and interior in disrepair. Furniture nicked, wall paper and paint peeling.
5) Sheets were clean but blanket and spread were not.
6) Generally old and dirty.
7) Breakfast area small. One little table with three cafe chairs in corner of check-in office. We ate at Huddle House next door.
8) Advertised HBO but wasn't on TV.
9) Killed baby roach on night stand.
10) Wanted to talk to owner (while checking out) but he was talking on his cell phone to someone else while checking me out.
11) Asked for late check-out, 12:15 instead of 11:00. Granted it but relunctantly.
12) Charged an extra dollar for using credit card.
13) Only other motel in town, Days Inn, was full.
14) Saw another independant motel nearby, The Winton, that looked nice.

We are sorry about bad experience at our hotel.
1) About reservation, what ever we reveived from orbitz we post it in our computer system. we are sorry that we didn't meet your expectations.
2) usally our housekeeper checks all the lights every day while they clean room. if it's not working then will let us know right way. but she might be forgot that day or it was unpluged. if you would call us at frontdesk then some one will be correct it right way.
3) Over the sink light, if that is blink it like strobe light then you can contact us at frontdesk and we will correct it right way.
4) we are extremly sorry that we didn't meet your expectation about property condition, and we do not have wall paper in rooms. recently we have upgrade many things in rooms.
5) again sorry we did not meet your expection. usally we clean it regularly basis.
6) Yes it is a old property but regularly we been upgrading every year and trying to meet all expectations to our guest.
7) Yes it's small breakfast area. due to office size, but also we just serving only Continental breakfast and all the guest can take it to room and have breakfast with their family members.
8) we do have 8 HBO channel and 4 ESPN channel, it must be miss understanding.
9) we do have very profesional pest control contract all year round and they come out at property every month and do pest control.
10) we are sorry about bad experiance at front desk while you were checking out. usally it never happen. we make sure taht while we serving customer try to avoid cell phone but if there is any emergancy or talking with vendors then we use cell phone and yes while customer comes on desk we do put them on hold and take care customer first. customer satisfaction is our frist priority.
11) We always work it out with guest that if they want some extra time to check out late, we give them extra time, but not a many hours, because of housekeepers have to clean rooms for next guest checking in, and they have to go their home and take care their familys.
12) we do not have policy that if any guest using credit card we charge extra dollar for that.
13), 14) no comments.
Again we are extremly sorry about we did not meet your expectation for your lodging you need. but in future we will make sure that it won't happen again. and recently we have done major renovations to our property and give nice and beautiful touch to our motel rooms. so all our guest can enjoy there stay while they away from their home. we have just put new mattress, bed covering, carpet, new style top mount vassel sink. many rooms with 32" LED flat screen TV, newly painted all rooms ect. ect.
Thank you very much for your visit at our hotel in past, come back again and check us out one more time. i will guarantee you that you wont disappoint any more.

we are extremely sorry about bad experience in past at our motel. we are sorry that we didn't meet your expectations. we are trying our level best to make our guest happy and more comfortable. the bathroom is old so ofcours you don't get to see like a brand new. but we do use the best company name Ecolab product to clean our rooms bathroom and furnitures. we will definatly look in to it and resolve the problems. about noise we have work on that area very seriously, keep on eye 24 hour 7days. we been watching in our security camera tha where all this noise is coming from and we have been resolve that problem.

In future if you are visiting our area please stop by and check us out again. Recently we have upgraded many things in room. Like Brand New carpet, vassal sink, mattress, bed covering, paintings.
