Numerous problems.
1) Wanted two non smoking rooms and Orbitz confirmed. We got one non-smoking and one smoking.
2) One of rooms had four lamps. Three had no bulbs and one had one bulb.
3) Flourscent bulb over sink blinked like a strobe light.
4) Exterior and interior in disrepair. Furniture nicked, wall paper and paint peeling.
5) Sheets were clean but blanket and spread were not.
6) Generally old and dirty.
7) Breakfast area small. One little table with three cafe chairs in corner of check-in office. We ate at Huddle House next door.
8) Advertised HBO but wasn't on TV.
9) Killed baby roach on night stand.
10) Wanted to talk to owner (while checking out) but he was talking on his cell phone to someone else while checking me out.
11) Asked for late check-out, 12:15 instead of 11:00. Granted it but relunctantly.
12) Charged an extra dollar for using credit card.
13) Only other motel in town, Days Inn, was full.
14) Saw another independant motel nearby, The Winton, that looked nice.

To whom it may concern
We are sorry about bad experience at our hotel.
1) About reservation, what ever we reveived from orbitz we post it in our computer system. we are sorry that we didn't meet your expectations.
2) usally our housekeeper checks all the lights every day while they clean room. if it's not working then will let us know right way. but she might be forgot that day or it was unpluged. if you would call us at frontdesk then some one will be correct it right way.
3) Over the sink light, if that is blink it like strobe light then you can contact us at frontdesk and we will correct it right way.
4) we are extremly sorry that we didn't meet your expectation about property condition, and we do not have wall paper in rooms. recently we have upgrade many things in rooms.
5) again sorry we did not meet your expection. usally we clean it regularly basis.
6) Yes it is a old property but regularly we been upgrading every year and trying to meet all expectations to our guest.
7) Yes it's small breakfast area. due to office size, but also we just serving only Continental breakfast and all the guest can take it to room and have breakfast with their family members.
8) we do have 8 HBO channel and 4 ESPN channel, it must be miss understanding.
9) we do have very profesional pest control contract all year round and they come out at property every month and do pest control.
10) we are sorry about bad experiance at front desk while you were checking out. usally it never happen. we make sure taht while we serving customer try to avoid cell phone but if there is any emergancy or talking with vendors then we use cell phone and yes while customer comes on desk we do put them on hold and take care customer first. customer satisfaction is our frist priority.
11) We always work it out with guest that if they want some extra time to check out late, we give them extra time, but not a many hours, because of housekeepers have to clean rooms for next guest checking in, and they have to go their home and take care their familys.
12) we do not have policy that if any guest using credit card we charge extra dollar for that.
13), 14) no comments.
Again we are extremly sorry about we did not meet your expectation for your lodging you need. but in future we will make sure that it won't happen again. and recently we have done major renovations to our property and give nice and beautiful touch to our motel rooms. so all our guest can enjoy there stay while they away from their home. we have just put new mattress, bed covering, carpet, new style top mount vassel sink. many rooms with 32" LED flat screen TV, newly painted all rooms ect. ect.
Thank you very much for your visit at our hotel in past, come back again and check us out one more time. i will guarantee you that you wont disappoint any more.
