I don't understand all the previous complaints. Our room was large, clean, and smelled fresh. The mattress was comfortable. The area was quiet and off the main highway. The breakfast was very basic, but good. We got our money's worth!

We planned to stay her for two nights - the check-in clerk, Mindy, was EXCELLENT and gave us a choice of rooms to view, and we selected 238 in the no-smoking section. Everything was fine, it looked and smelled clean, bathroom was fine and the fridge and microwave worked 100%.

It was only when we pulled back the sheet to air the bed after our first night that we saw a BED BUG. My Mrs captured it and presented it in a plastic cup to the receptionist who had a fit!. Even though she offered us another room we just checked out....

My wife knows about these things and she says that if there's one there's hundreds hidden away in nooks and crannies, and she didn't want us to get our luggage infected.

Our advice is to stay away for at least a year to make sure they've fumigated the place and eradicated these nasty critters.

Was skwpticle after reading reviews, but my room, 235, was clean and had a comfortable bed. Yes the air seems because the AC is not left on in the room or in the hall. Once we put the ac on (or open the window) it was fine.The carpet was not dirty, the bottom of my bear feet were clean, that's the easiest way to check.

The second floor rooms attach through inside hall as oppossed to first floor street access like a regular motel set up.
It's obvious magagement is triming waste to keep rates low, but things like not leaving the AC on or opening windows, makes the air stale. The hall is left side smoking, right side non-smoking. My room was non-smoking, and I only caught a wiff of smoke in the stair case, not my room, not in my hall.
No cobb webs but one or two microscopic spiders which is normal for a hotel in the woods. Same as a house, hey, you are in the woods. The Best Western is right next door, so there's the other choice.
