My friend and I were in Newport for a festival and the closest (most hotels in the area were booked) and least expensive option for our budget (around $100-150) was the ExtendedStay America in Warwick. The only room available was a smoking room and being inexperienced travelers, we didn't think it would be a problem. The hotel itself seemed really nice, but our room was a mess. The smell was harsh and I found it hard to breathe, but I guess that's expected. Our unclean room, however, was not. The carpet and tiles were visibly dirty. The tub, sink, bathroom counter, and toilet were also dirty. I'm not sure if this sounds "picky," but we also found three long hairs snagged on the hanging towels and there were white castle burgers left in the freezer. After a thorough inspection of the rest of the room, I was a little afraid of what I would find in the bed. I can't believe I actually slept there but the hotel couldn't accommodate us with another room or cleaning service. Hope this was helpful.

Hotel makes no effort to accommodate non-smokers. I reserved a non-smoking room 2 months in advance to show-up and find only a smoking room.....was told they are booked for the night. The room smelled like a burned building. The carpet is filthy. The whole place is dirty. I would never ever go back to that dungeon.

This hotel fit us perfectly! We stayed for a week. Ample room, kitchen set up was fine and located close to Newport yet we didn't have to pay "an arm and a leg"! The staff was friendly and took care of our needs. They supplied uswith plenty of coffee to use in their coffee pot! Extra towels were available whenever we wanted them. Eating locations were close by. The hotel is right off an interstate but it IS hard to find - but our GPS got us back every time! The hotel was very clean. The desk gal in the mornings was always sweeping the floor or wiping down the glass doors. We would definitely stay there again when in the area and will definitely look at other Extended Stay America hotels in the future!

I stayed in US for three months in Extended Stay hotel. I was very much satisfied with the service and facilites given at hotel. They have quite big studio room with all kitchen amenities which is big plus when you are planning to stay Overseas and do not like food outside. Hotel is located close to very big shopping centers like Warwick Mall, Rhode Island Mall, Walmart etc. Many nearby restaurents are also there. Overall I enjoyed my stay at Extended Stay America.
