My husband and I usually stay in Providence when visiting family in RI, but as we have a new dog, it's tougher to stay in certain places. We chose the Hampton Inn for its no-fee pet policy and couldn't have been happier. Not only were they accommodating to the pooch, but they are completely customer service oriented. We asked for a non-smoking room, and the room we were initially assigned to was right next to a smoking room. I asked if we could change rooms and they accommodated us immediately. The room was spotless and it was nice having a little kitchenette and comfortable sitting room separate from the bedroom. The kitchen decor looked a bit stylistically dated, but everything worked great and was very clean. I expected noise, being right next to the airport, but it was pleasantly very quiet. Very nice breakfast spread -- we stayed 3 nights and each morning the hot breakfast was different. Had we known about this place earlier, we would have been staying here all these years instead of downtown Providence where you have to pay $25/night to park and breakfast is by no means included.
Room Tip: Corner rooms are best!
