I expected pretty shabby, but it wasn't. Even though it was near the airport and was more bare-bones style, it was comfy and clean. The first room they put me in was right over the main entrance with a sliding door that vibrates the whole floor above. When I asked to move, no problem. They put me in a much quieter room. The rooms were big with nice amenities. Very nice shuttle service - they take you to any restaurant you want since the hotel doesn't have one.

The exercise room and pool were nice, but the hot tub wasn't usable. I use hot tubs in every hotel I go to (including other countries) and this was the first one I couldn't handle because it was too hot. They have a nice little sign there that says "104 degrees" so you know what you're in for, but I've been in real hot springs that were that hot and I could handle it. Maybe it was because it was inside and it was so stuffy.

But overall, it was a good deal for $79.

I was very pleased with my experience at the holiday inn express. The desk staff was very respectful and courtesy. My room was clean, large and comfortable.

The positives are that this is a very nice, clean and convenient hotel. I did not use the pool or fitness center nor the business center. I will say that the pillows are lumpy and cheap typical hotel pillows. The pillow cases have a great idea of having stitched along the side, "firm" or "soft" which is awesome. However, lumpy firm and lumpy soft is not my preferred choice of pillows.

Breakfast was well stocked and the breakfast room was large with plenty of room to sit down. The only line I encountered was for the new pancake maker... It really looks more like a printer then a pancake making machine. I was the only adult seven kids back thus I decided to stick with eggs and oatmeal!

Overall the people here did a real nice job. I enjoyed it.

My family (2 adults, pre-schooler, and a 9 month old) recently spent an extended stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Warwick RI, during the aftermath of the freak early season snowstorm Albert, where our home lost power for 9 days. With 2 kids, this could have been a very hard and uncomfortable stay. Throughout our entire trip, the staff was wonderfully helpful and made our stay very enjoyable.
The room itself was made up of a semi-separate living room area with a small fridge / microwave, a nicely appointed bathroom, and a bedroom with 2 beds. The beds and the furniture were quite comfortable. The televisions are old varieties, no PPV movies, but also no ability to plug in an external device to watch DVDs, so the cable selection could be improved, especially after day 5 or so.
The breakfasts were great, enough variety to keep our family happy and fed for our entire stay. The indoor pool was very small, a bit cold, but enough to keep my oldest child happy. The business center was small and looked effective mainly for printing emails occasionally, but not if you needed an extended work time. The location was convenient, not far from lots to do with the family.
Overall though, the staff and maintenance of the facility made this a great stay. For every small complaint, the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff made the stay very pleasant, and we plan to return again in the future, hopefully this time for just a vacation, not a storm induced exile.

Crowne Plaza eat your heart out! HI Express Warwick Airport Providence sets a new level of standard for the ICH Group. The hotels is fairly new on the block but the rooms are just fantastic Quite simply the largest and most luxurious HI Express Suite I have ever been in after many years and many HI Express's, Crown Plaza's, Candlewood Suites and Holiday Inn's. The staff are very helpful and friendly and cannot do enough to help you feel at home, well done to all on duty.
