Was staying at this hotel on business and planned on being there 60 days! But when i discovered BLACK MOLD coming from the AC unit then reported it to the General Manager and he ignored it. I checked out!!!! So beware of the black mold at Residence Inn located in Warwick, RI

We had a nice stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean and well kept. A nice large king size bed and quiet room with helpful staff. The fitness room could have more equipment (pretty lacking). We did not eat at the restaurant so I do not know what the food was like

My fiance and I wanted to take a getaway for our anniversary but couldn't afford the hotel prices on Newport. We found the Residence Inn in Warwick. When we checked in we told them it was a trip for our anniversary and asked to be upgraded to a jacuzzi suite, which we were, with a smile. The front desk also made suggestions to us about attractions and where to eat and provided us with brochures. In the room, we found that the light over the jacuzzi was out. The staff came promptly to change the bulb and then to clean the tub from the workmen's boots on request. We found the room to be large and comfortable. We also used the lobby computers and had no problems with it at all. It was always available when we needed it. It was about a 40 minute drive to Newport, but we enjoyed the time together and coming "home" to the Residence Inn.

I had a very peaceful stay, no problems at all. Persons extra-concerned about security might want to know that my room opened directly to the parking lot rather than to a hallway, but it was a quiet area and everything seemed comfortable.
