It is a little dated, but very clean and comfortable. Will recommend to friends.

Clean hotel with beach views just outside of Newport. Much cheaper off-season rate than the hotels in town, free bagels, coffee and fruit in the morning. Really can't beat it. The beach is right across the street, the Cliff Walk is a short distance away. Also Flo's Clam shack (yum) and several restaurants within very easy walking distance.

Not a terrible walk to downtown Newport, either, if you put on your comfy shoes!

I slept on the pullout couch in the king suite, but my pals took the king bed and remarked about how comfortable it was. The queen size pullout wasn't too bad with one person, because I could sleep diagonally and not have the bar digging into my back. I wouldn't try it with two (at least not two adults.)

I have stayed at this hotel several times and have always been pleased. The rooms are all huge with separate living and sleeping areas, 2 TVs, a mini-fridge and microwave. It's not fancy but is definitely clean and comfortable. Breakfast is included, but you have to walk next door to the neighboring Comfort Inn. The Quality Inn is located across the street from Easton's (First) Beach, and is within walking distance of the famed "Cliff Walk" which shouldn't be missed! Downtown Newport is about a mile away. Overall this hotel is very roomy, the staff is friendly and the cost is much less than staying in the wharf area of Newport.

Friendly staff, very nice room with king bed and water views. Very clean suite. Comfy bed. Need to upgrade TVs (very small) and bathroom could use upgrade but absolutely acceptable and very clean. Some good restaurants in the area - try the Atlantic Grill for a great breakfast. Would stay here again.
