We arrived in Newport on a Saturday night during the boat show so things in town were booked up and this was the closest available room. So overpriced. We paid over $150 for a room that wasn't worth half that (and indeed, the rate would go down to $70 the next night we were informed). The room felt like it was in a basement, the window looked out at the level of the car tires in the back parking lot. The bathroom, while not evidently dirty, was aged and stained so it appeared undesirable to say the least and there was no head on the shower. The bedding and the pillows were thin. The woman at the front desk was friendly but overall this place left a bad taste and we couldn't wait to get out first thing in the morning.
