“Great wedding!”

Just returned from my brothers wedding and had a great time! They were married on the beautiful lawn and had reception inside the barn. Place was spectacular..breakfast was amazing...beautiful walk down to the ocean with lots of wildlife..very rich in history as George Washington had visited the house during Revolutionary War times...the only negative would be the rooms adjoin with a bathroom door and you can hear a lot through doors..but this is minor..and it is a bit expensive around 225-250$..The rooms were decorated perfectly for the setting..would definitely recommend!

“We're WMass”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 October 2011

We recently were lucky to be given a three day getaway from our daughter at Mount Hope Farm. We were impressed with the beautiful grounds and the condition of the property. Our stay was great from the beginning to when we left. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff to make you feel welcomed. Our breakfast cook, Donna, was a great cook and very familar with the area to give us daily ideas of what to do.
The town of Bristol has many historic sites to visit. We highly recommend staying at this B+B.

“Very Quant! Great Inn, Great Area!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 July 2011

A beautiful spot located in the Historic and Quant town of Bristol, RI. We were there for the Fourth of July celebrations. The rooms were elegant and the Breakfast was for those who enjoy gourmet food. I am a eggs and bacon kind of guy but I still enjoyed the breakfast. The ladies who do the breakfast went out of their way to make sure all the gusts were happy. Breakfast was served out door in the garden. It was very beautiful and peaceful. My wife woke up the first morning and saw a hug buck in the field outside our wind. The trails that lead to the bay were easy and again very beautiful. I do have three issues. I am a handicapped person and the Inn is not very easy to get around in a wheel Chair. The pool was closed so we were not able to use it. Be pre-paired to listen to all that the people in the next room are doing, and I mean everything. I did enjoy it there. It too high priced for what you get and they need to think about the handicapped guests.

“A Peaceful Stay Back in Time”

I would highly recommend staying at Mount Hope Farm. It took a few phone calls to book my stay but well worth it. The Inn dates from 1745 but has all the modern conveniences one needs. The Inn lies on over 100 acres which includes a working farm. The property has a mile path which leads to a boat house on Mt. Hope Bay with a beautiful view of the bridge. My son & I went swimming close to sunset- it was a great end to the day. Also, the first evening we wandered around the farm, seeing a variety of animals. The property is beautiful and well cared for. After finding the chickens, it was obvious we were going to have a stellar breakfast with the freshest eggs. Our stay couldn't have been nicer. It was especially nice to spend the afternoon doing numerous activities and return to the Inn to recuperate.

“Lord of the manor on historic 127 acre farm”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 June 2011

When we stayed here, we had the main house to ourselves, we really felt like the lord and lady of the manor. Fantastic house with large rooms and period furniture. Great for walks in the grounds which border on river. Great cooked breakfast. The only downside is that there is only a caretaker on the property overnight, no evening / overnight reception
