Stayed in a studio efficiency third week of July 07'. The hosts are a genuine couple who helped me feel at home. Complimentary beach chairs and umbrellas saved a couple of bucks. Expected street noise didn't materialize. My rating would be above average but for the murphy and sofa beds in unit 21 needing replacement. Didn't need a car with the bicycle handy. Decent as an interval getaway.

Great place to stay. We had the two connecting rooms, one with
a queen bed , pullout couch and bathroom with tub/shower. the other connecting room had a pullout couch, refrig,sink, stove and
also a bathroom with tub/shower.

two adults and two children fits nicely into this setup, we stayed 7 nights and loved, very close to capt. nicks and all the shops etc.

everything within walking distance, very clean rooms and the staff was great !!!

We own a timeshare so the Island Manor is available on exchange. For the price we pay for the exchange it's a huge bargain since we pay for a week what most people pay for a night. The rooms ARE small and very dated. But reasonable since really how much time do you spend in a room when you're on Block Island?! The rooms are clean, the owners are very accomodating. They have kitchens, a great way to save some money if you are going to be there for a length of time & have small kids. My advice though is to buy off the island & pack it in a cooler, island food isn't cheap! We think it's a great place for the $$ invovled & it's in a great location, close to the ferry, close to shops. We always take our car over for the week & there is ample parking.
